The Broken Earth Trilogy by Jemisin still haunts me

I recently listened to the audiobook of The Fifth Season. I liked it but didn't love it. That being said, would you recommend I keep going? I read it right after reading The Parable of the Talents. So maybe I was just burnt out on dystopian sci-fi.

I would give it another try if you are up for it. It's very hard to read as a mom though. But really good.
