I haven't read anything by her -- would you say this is a good book to start with Angela Davis? How are you liking the re-read?

lol idk. angela davis is a black marxist feminist. it’s a great read for me to remind me why i am the way i am, it’s a blunt introduction to black feminist history if you’re unfamiliar. i re-read often because -gestures broadly-

I'll add it to my non-fiction list because she's been someone I've known about but never really read... which I wouldn't call a meaningful familiar. She apparently wrote the foreword to a recent Marcuse bio, which is neat.
