I'm rereading System of Objects right now and then I'm gonna move on to Simulacra and Simulation. My partner hadn't read him before so we're reading together because I kept talking about how Simulacrum and Simulation is just.... scarily prescient for the time we're living in right now

That's awesome that you're reading it with your partner. I've done a lot of readings but never the whole of Simulacra and Simulation before, if you can believe that! I'll have to finally do it. The Gulf War Did Not Take Place also feels topical, if you can find a copy
