Exciting Job Board Updates: Daily Backfill for More Roles!

Big update for the Job Board this week! The board will now backfill daily with roles pulled in based on some detailed filters I’ve created. That means, yay more roles for you to check out! But also, they’re not as high quality as the roles I vet myself every week. Pros - more roles, more industries, more specializations. I wanted to increase the volume of roles on the board. It’s a better experience for all of us than conducting numerous separate searches and relying solely on LinkedIn for “reliable” roles. Many of these are being pulled directly from job board pages using a search script I wrote, targeting ATS boards such as Greenhouse, Lever, etc. The next step is to specifically target high-quality companies that pay well for cx roles. Cons: not personally vetted, lower quality The trade-off of this kind of volume is lower quality. I don’t have the energy to vet the quality of a higher volume of jobs. I can write a string to target to a point, but I can’t go through and read every single one to determine if it’s scammy, a ghost role, too low paying, etc. I run the job board & newsletter for free with little to no donations or ad revenue, while un/underemployed. It’s a passion project that I love working on, but I can’t dedicate that much time and energy to it and take care of myself. The Newsletter will continue to be the source for the higher-quality, vetted roles, and I’m thinking about doing this twice a week instead of just weekly. We’ll see how that goes. I’m gonna keep working on improving the board and how I find and share roles but this is the direction I’m trying to move in. Hoping to get toward better quality with the higher volume, soon.
