I know, I know.

I feel like they got their Q1 numbers in mid-April, and with the De Minimis exemption expiring on 5/2 and the tariffs on China and India, decided to freeze hiring, but like... wtf. Why put me through 3 interviews and a reference check if you're waiting for projections. I interviewed on 3/13, 3/21, and 4/2. I was asked for references on 4/3, they had responses by 4/9

Yeah - This guy was employed by Quince. I literally interviewed 3 times, they confirmed my references, and I was told I'd start on 4/21. And then nothing.

The Thursday prior, I was told to check in with the VP of CX so she could move my start date through so I could start on Monday 4/21. My recruiter then did not reply to further contact. Monday 4/21 I was e-mailed that due to "changes in leadership in Customer Retentions" they were pausing all activity and not moving forward with my candidacy at this time.

I JUST LAST WEEK HAD AN OFFER RESCINDED FROM QUINCE

This is such a wild thing to read, when I am applying to every Customer Service job I can find, and just not getting hired. Including front-line CS roles when I have 3 years of direct learning & development-focused management experience.
