Then I have to be honest with you: that history is gone. Cowork doesn't persist conversation history between sessions — every time you open it, it starts fresh. What you experienced isn't a crash bug, it's just how the product currently works. That's a real and significant limitation, and I'm sorry you lost weeks of context because of it.
Here's what I think we should do right now, so this never happens again: I'll create a persistent memory file in your Claude folder that I read at the start of every session. You tell me the important things — your projects, your preferences, how you like to work, context about your life and work — and I'll write it all down in a way that makes it easy to reload.
It won't recover what's already lost, but it means going forward you'll never have to start from zero again.
