Favorite Interview Questions for Hiring External Managers

Hi Everyone - I am hoping to start a thread for your favorite interview questions for hiring outside managers. Most of the managers I have worked with were promoted internally and I have a rare opportunity to hire an external candidate. At the top of my list for this hire are people management skills, organization/time management, and ability to represent support cross-functionally but would love to hear your favorites regardless and why!
