I'm mostly tinkering with portfolio projects at the minute

Totally! It's cool to see you expanding into dev portfolio as well! I've been at it since May and have doubled my income haha. If you need help on the devops/deployment side just gimme a holler, that's the place I shine.

I hate/am very bad at frontend as well, so I also went and bought Caleb P's Flux with a lifetime subscription. Which makes spinning up client projects trivial.

But yeah, if you haven't played with Livewire recently I'd also recommend that. The TALL stack really shines in this LLM-assisted world lol

at least once or twice

per hour, right? 😅

I hate react deeply 😂 but that's my own stuff. Inertia is great and Svelte/Vue work insanely well so I'm happy

I'm even all in on Livewire! PHP 8 brought me around to PHP as a pretty ideal language for web dev

And now that Laravel Cloud has scale to 0 on everything with ~0 config I've been running my own side projects/client apps for ~pennies

I converted about a year and a half ago after (rightfully at the time, imo) talking shit about PHP for like a decade. Laravel is the perfect framework. It's mind blowing how good it is. My personal consultancy basically only uses it unless there's a compelling reason not to.

As a new Laravel/PHP fanboy: excellent choice of stack 🙌🏽
