Starting a Conversation on Burnout: Is It Too Negative?

Should I write this post series or is it too negative for LinkedIn? I've been on the struggle bus a lot this year, and I want to post about it, post some solutions I've found, and generally start the conversation around OMG are we all burning out? But maybe it's too real?

That's why I made my recent post about my mental health struggles. We hide so much, to the point there's still a belief you're not "professional" enough if you struggle. And that's bullshit

Real stuff is def what the people want. My blog post this week on burnout and starting again, which was pretty personal, has gotten more engagement and outreach than anything else ive done in a while.

personally (selfishly), i think talking about chronic illness more is important. i feel like we’ve been conditioned to worry more about how uncomfortable people feel about hearing that we’re sick than about the fact that we’re sick.
