You Did Not Get Hired: Understanding the Reality Behind Job Rejections and CV Submissions

Had this sat in my drafts forever but this ^ from Steph was the kick up the arse to finish it. You did not get hired (but it is not your fault) in which the reality of sending out CVs clashes with narrative convention and our need for closure. Please do tell me if I'm wrong.
