I don’t know if they kept with their original plans, but the articles that I saw when it first made the beta rounds said that it was the world’s worst nightmare for privacy. Not only for what you were browsing, but for everything on your whole network. I have not looked into it at all, but it scared me off of Perplexity entirely. Just FYI.

To Ash’s point this clip was a pretty good articulation of the risks we run Also! My colleague and I did a few use-case tests of comet before the public release- was fairly okay for some things, but not enough to get us the full adoption
