Not your usual content but I'm taking on some free coaching clients. I am taking a YNAB budget coach training and have 2 slots for free coaching open. YNAB is a budgeting app you can have on your phone or access on your computer. If you use it or want to use it, and want a coach, please DM me. You'll need to commit to setting up YNAB, filling out a questionnaire, and meeting with me over Zoom twice.
EVERYONE SHOULD USE YNAB END OF MESSAGE
wow ok CONOR 😂
Seriously, it's what is making me feel pretty calm about having such a weird income since leaving Expensify
That's amazing!!
I bet you have some great hacks for unpredictable income, a hot topic.
Oh that's easy Jen; just don't have an income to budget for
Ok, I would love to finally start budgeting. My husband uses YNAB and he would be happy to teach me, but his brain works very differently from mine. Please help? Just to note though, I think I'm going to stick with the "keep having an income" strategy - as simple as Conor's strategy seems. 😂
Awesome! Sarah, I'll DM you!
Sarah Betts hear me out I also am testing “don’t have an income” and it’s both calming and extremely stressful all at once, just like my old music biz job!! So who is missing out hmmm?
this is awesome! I know we were just messaging elsewhere but need to set up that coffee chat and talk YNAB too
Erica how well does that work with "Supports a family, including one with major medical issues atm?" 🤣 lolsob in American
I wish I had seen this post when it happened. I’ve tried YNAB at least 3 times now and I just haven’t gotten it. I’m sure it’s a factor of getting out of my own way with it, similar to nearly failing Chem in high school only to get A’s in college, but yikes. I love the concept. And as a young person, employed the method loosely to make sure rent was covered. But going digital with it breaks my brain. When I used Simple Bank or One Financial back in the day, both made it easier to follow. Now, I have all in autopay and am just lost for the rest.
